Usage instructions

Using the Dymo 18055 heat shrink tube is simple and fast, involving 4 basic steps:

• Printing: Insert the cassette into a compatible printer and cut the label to the desired length after printing the text or barcode.
• Insertion: Before sleeving or crimping the cable (or if using an open end), insert the wire through the printed tube.
• Positioning: Slide the tube to the exact area you want to mark.
• Contraction: Apply heat evenly using a heat gun. The tube will shrink quickly (3:1 ratio), perfectly conforming to the shape and becoming a permanent label that will not slip or peel off.

Important note: For optimal performance and proper cutting, ensure that your device has a clean blade. Since the polyolefin material is thicker than standard plastic tape, it is recommended to use devices with an industrial cutting function (Rhino range).
